On Tuesday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the History & Visitors Center, author and historian George McDaniel will speak to the society on his new book, Drayton Hall Stories: A Place and its People. McDaniel’s book is the first book to focus on a site’s recent history using interviews with descendants, architects, historians, preservationists, educators, tourism professionals and more. McDaniel served as Drayton Hall’s executive director for over 25 years.
