This 30-acre farm with an 1850’s I-shaped house was purchased in May of 2020 by Daniel and Carolina Paradis, who, along with their children, proudly provide stewardship for sheep, chickens, emus, horses, a dairy cow, pigs and rabbits. They also maintain two vegetable, herb & flower gardens. Operating as a low or no-tech regenerative farm, pesticides and external additives are not used.
The I-frame house dates back to an 1850 plat showing it owned by Burrell McClain, who was shot and killed in the early 1900’s, leaving his son William the house. Tours of the house include the front original dining and living rooms, as well as a food-preparing area complete with a large fireplace
